“Lazio’s match was good until Inter’s second goal, we didn’t let them enter our area until the 20th minute of the second half. We were conditioned by an error and a half, but our match was of an excellent level for 65 minutes”. This is the thought expressed by Maurizio Sarri, Lazio coach, after the home defeat against Inter in the championship. “The whistles at the end? The public boos us for past mistakes, but not for tonight’s match. For me today can be a good basis to start from, especially with regards to dribbling”, says the Biancoceleste coach. Lazio’s problem is that “we play a lot and create 3-4 situations and we struggle to transform them into goals”, says Sarri, “this year we are sixteenth in relation to goals created and goals scored, last year we were first.”
