Jarrett Stidham Named Starting Quarterback for Denver Broncos as Russell Wilson’s Future Uncertain

Everything indicates that the Russell Wilson era in Denver is over after two seasons. Head coach Sean Payton announced that Jarrett Stidham will be the Broncos’ starting quarterback for the final two games of the 2023 NFL season.

Stidham will take the offensive responsibility in Sean Payton’s system. The 27-year-old QB entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in the 2019 draft out of Auburn chosen by the New England Patriots.

In 2022 he started two games for the Las Vegas Raiders after injuries to Derek Carr. For life, the native of Corbin, Kentucky, has 926 yards with six touchdowns and seven interceptions after completing 77 of 131 throws.
