The starting signal for the 31st Darts World Championship was given on December 15th at Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) in London. The tournament is scheduled to be decided with the final on January 3rd. At stake in the most important tournament of the year is not only prestige or a trophy, but also considerable prize money. By no means is it just the world champion who is rewarded.

Darts World Cup 2024, prize money distribution: How much money will the world champion get?
Compared to last year, nothing has changed in terms of prize money. This time too, a total of 2.5 million British pounds (approx. 2.913 million euros) will be distributed, with the largest part of it going to the world champion: namely 500,000 pounds (approx. 582,000 euros). The finalist will be rewarded with 200,000 pounds. Whoever is in the semi-finals fails, but receives £100,000.

You can still look forward to 50,000 pounds for elimination in the quarter-finals. The distribution of the previous rounds is as follows: 35,000 pounds for the 4th round, 25,000 pounds for the 3rd round, 15,000 pounds for the 2nd round and 7,500 pounds for the 1st round.
