In regular time, Pherai (31st) and Benes (43rd) scored for Hamburg as well as Hertha striker Reese (21st/90th). In extra time, Königsdörffer (102nd) puts HSV in front before Kenny scores another Hertha equalizer in the 120th minute and completes the madness.

Another big dream comes true this evening.
Internet star Nader El-Jindaoui (27) makes his Hertha debut. The YouTuber (1.7 million followers with the channel “die Jindaouis”) and well-known influencer (2 million followers on Instagram) came on for Niederlechner in the 80th minute. For comparison: Hertha has 314,000 followers on Instagram.
The offensive player has been training with the professionals for six weeks due to personnel problems, but is otherwise part of the U23 team in the Northeast Regional League. There he has made 13 appearances and two goals this season so far. He sat on the bench for the first time on Sunday in the league win against Elversberg (5-1). So now his debut.
His most striking scene in the penalty shootout: he coldly converted Hertha’s third penalty from the spot.

Coach Pal Dardai (47) had already indicated before the game that Jindaoui would be part of the team again: “Yes, if nothing else happens, Nader will be in the cup squad. I heard that this is why even more fans want to come to the stadium. That’s great, we need all the support.”
Those responsible expected 55,000 spectators. But after BILD reported that social media star Nader Jondaoui (27) was back in the squad, many younger fans suddenly wanted to be there live. In the end, 58,946 spectators came.
And they saw a real cup spectacle.
