[시사일보=최현우·전희정 기자] The Gimcheon City Hall badminton team participated in the ‘2024 Badminton National Team Selection Tournament’, which selects players to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics, and produced five national players, including Seung-hoon Seung and Joo-eun Kim.
This selection match, hosted by the Korea Badminton Association, was held at Seosan Citizen’s Gymnasium in South Chungcheong Province for 7 days from the 21st to the 27th. 109 badminton players participated and a total of 38 players were selected, divided into men’s and women’s singles and doubles.
At Gimcheon City Hall, five people, including men’s singles player Seung-hoon Seung, women’s singles players Kim Joo-eun, Park Ga-eun, and Kim Seong-min, and women’s doubles players Kim Bo-ryeong, wore the Taegeuk symbol.
