■Comment from Maho Hiromachi (3rd year, Children’s Communication Department, Showa Gakuin High School)
Our goal was to reach the top 16 if we won, but against Rikkyo University, who had one win and one loss in league play, we couldn’t make our own basket and couldn’t find a flow. I think that participating in the intercollegiate team and being able to make it through the group stage gave me confidence. I will do my best to return to the intercollegiate stage again next year, so I appreciate your support.

■Comment from Miyuka Hosono (2nd year, Department of Management Sociology, Municipal Kashiwa High School)
Although I lost, I was able to find various challenges and gain some benefits. I’ll do my best to make corrections in practice and improve even further for next season. Thank you for your encouragement.

■Comment from student coach Ari Narisawa (3rd year, Department of Contemporary Sociology, Hougakuen High School)
With the game on December 6th, all games for this season have ended. After two months of league matches, the team won the intercollegiate stage for the first time in 12 years, and the players and staff came together as a team and were able to fight tenaciously to the end without giving up. Throughout the game, there were some tough times, but we encouraged each other each time, and everyone showed their strength in basketball, and we were able to make it through the group stage. Although we unfortunately did not reach our goal of making it to the top 16, I believe that the experience we had on the national stage will be of great help to our team in the future. We will not waste what we have gained through this intercollegiate season, and will continue to apply it to the next season and improve through daily practice. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to many people for their tremendous support during the intercollege event. Also, even though it was held on a weekday during the inter-college period, we received warm support from many people, which was very encouraging. thank you very much. Thank you for your continued support of the women’s basketball team.
