Marc Marquez is believed to make its rivals, incl Francesco Bagnaia nervous in MotoGP 2024. Former MotoGP racer Andrea Dovizioso advised Bagnaia.
Marquez will defend Gresini next season after 11 years riding for Honda. The eight-time champion appeared promising on the Desmosedici GP23 after finishing fourth in the post season test in Valencia, last November.
As is known, Marquez’s ride was the motorbike used by Bagnaia’s two top riders last season, Jorge Martin (Pramac).

When he was still actively racing, Dovizioso twice finished runner-up to Marc Marquez. The former Ducati racer believes that Bagnaia doesn’t need to think about Marquez’s performance but just focus on himself.
Apart from that, Dovizioso doesn’t seem very confident that Marquez will be successful in Gresini. The 37 year old Italiano remembered the situation of Jorge Lorenzo who failed to meet expectations after moving to Ducati.
“Bagnaia must ignore Marquez,” Dovizioso told GPOne. “He will only think about himself, because if you try to imitate these great champions then what happens is they rub you the wrong way.”
“Like what happened with Lorenzo. Jorge came on Ducati, thinking he would be brilliant, but in the end, it wasn’t like that. We’ll see, though. I’m very curious,” he added.
