Daniil Medvedev gave a nice interview to The National in which he inevitably talks about his relationship with a certain Rafael Nadal, back on the circuit after a year of absence.
“In fact, with Rafa I was perhaps even less successful than with Novak, in a way. But we had some close matches where I felt I could win and maybe he took the lead at the end. So for me it will be a big challenge if I have to face it. I don’t know his fitness level yet, no one knows, and I don’t know how he will behave. But from what I’ve seen, he seems to be doing well and that’s a good thing for tennis.”
