untouchable, Iga Swiatek offers herself a fourth crown in Paris

The Pole outclassed Jasmine Paolini in the final of the Roland-Garros tournament (6-2, 6-1).

Surprise in the women’s draw, the tournament’s No. 12 seed Jasmine Paolini was unable to do anything this Saturday in the Roland-Garros final against world number 1 Iga Swiatek. After standing up to the Pole at the start of the match for two games, even taking her opponent’s serve, the Italian was unable to do anything, losing in two sets (6-2, 6-1) in one a little over an hour on the court. Swiatek, undisputed queen of women’s tennis, thus offers herself her fourth victory in the Parisian tournament after 2020, 2022 and 2023 while she has just celebrated her 23rd birthday a few days ago.
