San Martín opens the doors to Volleyball
With a squad of more than 60 players, plus a group of coaches, including Professor Gustavo Santilli, Club San Martín opens the doors to volleyball. Their arrival will allow these players to participate in official tournaments.
In this regard, Gonzalo Marti, member of the Board of Directors, highlighted that the sports center is increasingly taking on greater value in its functions for what it was created, there is already skating, judo, and now volleyball.
For his part, Professor Santilli thanked Club San Martín for its attitude in supporting this sport and explained that “although they have been working on sports for some time, it is done through commercial tournaments, and it is required due to the level of the players, reach official tournaments. For this, San Martín is the only way,” he highlighted.
It has several youth and senior categories, both female and male, all accompanied by a team of coaches coordinated by Santilli himself.
Daniel Farías, also from the Board of Directors, highlighted that “as a neighborhood club it always takes inclusion into account, much more so now with the sports center, and the proposal of Gustavo and his coaching staff. We were very interested in opening the door to volleyball,” he highlighted.
The training days are from Monday to Friday with the objective also of adding recreational volleyball, since San Martín provides that space.
