Last July, the basketball world was shocked to learn that Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest during training. A day later, when the incident became publicly known, the promising forward had already left the intensive care unit and 48 hours later was discharged.

Bronny James, one of the biggest and most popular figures in high school basketball, announced in May his commitment to USC for this season, which was expected to be his last before participating in the NBA Draft.

LeBron James, 38 years old and current star of the Los Angeles Lakers, repeatedly expressed his intention to remain active until he can share a team with his son.
