Youth League: Paris wants to move on to Milan, without Gadou but with Zague and Ethan Mbappé

Saturday, on the Amiens field, the young talents of PSG did not prepare in the best way for their trip to Milan by conceding a fourth defeat in a row away from home in the league (2-1). It has been a constant since the start of the season, Paris is in difficulty away from its bases, even if the last European outing, at Newcastle, ended in a precious success at the very end of the match (1-0). It will take, at least, the same energy, if not better, to overcome the vengeful Italians, this Tuesday, November 7 at 2 p.m. at the Centro Sportivo Vismara (on BeIN Sports 1).

After three days, the hopes of the capital are in third place in this group F with 6 points on the clock, the same total as Dortmund and AC Milan whom they beat (1-0) on October 25, at Georges-Lefèvre stadium in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Objective: put the Lombards at bay

This meeting therefore appears to be an important turning point that Zoumana Camara will have to approach without several executives. Indeed, Joane Gadou, the solid and promising central defender, already absent in the first leg, will not be restored. He is out, just like Ilies Ardjani, a young impactful winger, or defenders Sékou Doucouré, and Ethan Bagbonon, injured for several months.

On the other hand, Ethan Mbappé will be available to the U 19s. Kylian’s little brother is one of the team’s essential relays in the midfield. The Parisians will also be able to count on the return of Serif Nhaga, the Portuguese full-back, who returned to competition after a minor injury.

Captain Yoram Zague is available. Called to play in the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia (November 10 – December 2), the 17-year-old right back had the green light from the Federation to play this match before joining the selection. It won’t be too much to pick up valuable points in the race for qualification. A victory would put Milan well ahead of the last two group matches, on November 28, against Newcastle, then on December 13, in Dortmund.
