It was a positive debut for coach Pelino’s Italy who began their climb towards promotion to the Top Division by beating Romania 6-1. They scored Salinitri with a double, Deadbolts for doubling, Frank, Marchetti e Kostner to close a match without too many fuss that the Azzurri managed to immediately channel onto favorable tracks at the Sparkasse Arena in Bolzano.

The Blue Team will now look for their second victory against Japan, who lost 3-1 to Hungary on their debut.
