Norderstedt (em) The judo athletes from TuRa Harksheides took part again in the youth age groups at the second Wilstedter SV Elephant Cup in front of a home crowd. The 2nd International Elephant Cup took place in the Moorbekhalle in Norderstedt from September 30th to October 1st, 2023. The organizer was Wilstedter SV, practically from the neighborhood. A total of 727 judoka from 76 judo clubs registered for the second edition of the tournament.
In addition to the reports from Bavaria, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Berlin, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Thuringia, athletes from Denmark and the Netherlands also found themselves on the 6 mats in Norderstedt. You could follow the exciting fights not only on site but also in the live streams.
TuRa came to this tournament with a very short journey and a large team. To the great joy of Harksheid head coach Dominik Falk, the following medals were won:
