Taking advantage of the moment, the comedian also reproached the Spanish cultural sector for the lack of support given to Catalonia. “You have been missed many times. Sometimes it feels like it is difficult to position yourself for fear of losing four votes or selling a few fewer tickets for your concerts. You have a market of 40 million Spanish people, we have been living in “a market of two or three million Catalan speakers, and you can live perfectly. I mean if the fear is to lose the four idiots who shout”Long live Franco» in Ferraz, we should lose our fear”, he argued. Peyu’s speech was received with explosive applause from the public.

For his part, Marc Giró, who picked up Ondas in the best local television program for Late xou, has claimed television made in Catalan from RTVE Catalunya. The first season of late show de Giró was broadcast in Catalan in disconnection for Catalonia but is currently broadcast in Spanish for the whole of Spain. The communicator has asked for more television products to be made in Catalan from the production center in Sant Cugat.
