Silvio Di Francia has left an indelible mark on the world of promoting sporting activities and community cultural life, and this initiative aims to preserve and celebrate his extraordinary legacy. Di Francia, former president of Zetema, a company that manages the Roman museum system and organizes cultural projects, was councilor for cultural policies of the municipality of Latina from 2018 to 2020. In 2020 he was diagnosed with primary lateral sclerosis, a degenerative disease, which does not gave him an escape. Silvio Di Francia was a person who loved music and literature, attentive to social issues, practiced judo (he had also become Italian champion and had been called up to the national team) so much so that he became a prominent person in the Federation and held the position of president of the Committee regional Lazio of Fijlkam (Italian Federation of Judo, Wrestling and Karate).
