For its 14th edition, the Open was a huge success with 519 juniors and cadets on Saturday and 363 child judokas for the interclub on Sunday. With nearly 900 fighters who passed through the Rio tatamis in 48 hours, the 2023 edition represents the second highest attendance record in the history of this competition.

Sunday, the Children’s Open, also had a great success with the presence of judokas from all over the Roanne region, the neighboring clubs of Saône-et-Loire and the Rhône, without forgetting the presence of several clubs of the Forez plain.
The organizing club, Dojo Riorgeois, once again demonstrated these great organizational qualities with a very committed and motivated team of volunteers and young referees. A quality organization noticed and praised by visitors.
