San Antonio Spurs Struggle: 3:8 Record and Defensive Woes Plague Team

After a sustained series of defeats of six defeats in a row, the San Antonio Spurs currently only have a disappointing 3:8 record, which puts them in third-to-last place in the strong Western Conference.

In particular, the last defeat at the Oklahoma City Thunder can be classified in the blowout loss category with a difference of -36.

The Texans, led by legendary coach Greg Popovich, have the ninth-weakest offense with 110.6 points and 124.1 points allowed the weakest defense in the league.

This results in by far worst point differential in the association (-13.4)!

Despite the reinforcement of generational talent and number 1 pick Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs are individually too weak to be able to compete for the playoff places, which are particularly difficult to secure in the West.

The 2.24 meter tall Frenchman still oscillates between efficient scoring performances and ice-cold nights in which not much is achieved.
