Robert Maaskant enjoyed watching the Dutch national team win quite easily against Gibraltar last Tuesday. The Dutch scored 6-0 in the Estádio Algarve in Faro.
Robert Maaskant was positive about the Dutch national team and saw a standout in Ronald Koeman’s team. “We saw Stengs with a number of goals. Gibraltar is indeed not a prelude, but you have to shoot them in. The way Stengs shoots them in, you have to be able to do that. Someone who is in top form who can join us straight away. I think it’s nice to see.”
Stengs scored his first goals in his eighth international match. The Feyenoord attacker scored three times in the match against Gibraltar.
