Eurohoops Academy takes advantage of every opportunity for entertainment as well as further training and offers you many opportunities for individual development in basketball during the New Year’s holiday.
This year’s Eurohoops Camps | The New Year’s Edition will be held in two different date ranges (27-29 December 2023 and 2-5 January 2024). These camps, which will be held at the Eurohoops Dome in Kifse, Greece, will include four different training programs for each age category.
The names of these four different programs will be Fundamental camp, shooting camp, finishing laboratory and individual shooting laboratory.
While the camp series will include fun training sessions for young basketball player candidates, the laboratory series will include more serious training programs aimed at individual development.
The training programs of Eurohoops camps are designed and implemented under the supervision of Eurohoops Academy Technical Director Konstantinos Meletis. Eurohoops Academy Director and European basketball legend Theo Papaloukas always prepares different surprises for young basketball player candidates.

Fundamental Camp: The fun version of basic training in basketball!
Fundamental Camp was designed to instill the love of basketball in children and at the same time develop them physically, technically and mentally in a highly entertaining way. The main axis of the training program consists of games and activities aimed at developing on-field partnerships between two and three players, conveying the spirit of cooperation to children and improving physical condition. The target audience of this program is boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14.
Shooting Camp: Improve your scoring skills by having fun!
In this innovative training program for young ages, athletes have the opportunity to learn to shoot correctly through a series of special exercises adapted to various conditions of the game. This camp focuses on ball control, rhythm and shooting mechanics, as well as the ideal shot during the match, while also aiming for children to learn while having fun. The program is suitable for children aged 6-12.
Individual Shooting Laboratory: Personalized training programs and shooting development!
In the Individual Shooting Laboratory, we reveal the secrets of the art of shooting with our new personalized training programs with a quota of only 9 people! Male and female players with ambitions of improvement have the opportunity to improve their shooting skills and find rhythm in a small group under the supervision of Eurohoops Academy’s expert coaches. The training program, which consists of high-intensity quality training, includes exercises for all types of shooting styles, adapted to the needs of each athlete for individual development. We increase your basketball training experience by using Dr. Dish’s state-of-the-art shooting machine during training. The program is suitable for athletes aged 13 and over.
Finishing Laboratory: Improve your scoring skills!
Finishing laboratory is a training program that includes a standard exercise routine, aims at specialization, tries to provide the most suitable conditions to increase the scoring skills of young players and requires intense effort. The special training plan is designed for male and female players who want to perfect or improve their technical skills, as well as enrich their ways of scoring in the game. Includes all possible finishing patterns (shot, layup, three-pointer, shot off the dribble, shot off the ball). The program is for athletes aged 12 and over.
Important informations
At the end of all our programs, a t-shirt and certificate of participation will be given. Additionally, nutritious snacks will be served during the camps.
Every athlete who wants to participate in the camps is required to have a health certificate or athlete health card. Additionally, our medical team will be present in our gym during the training programs.
