Real Madrid: after Tchouaméni and Camavinga, serious injury for Vinicius

The massacre continues for Real Madrid. Already deprived of Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Arda Güler, Kepa Arizzabalaga, Dani Ceballos, Jude Bellingham, and more recently Eduardo Camavinga, affected with the Blues on Wednesday, the Madrid club has lost a new element of its squad, and not least: Vinicius.

Holder with his selection during Colombia-Brazil (2-1) on the night of Thursday to Friday, a match counting for the qualifications of the South America zone for the 2026 World Cup, the Auriverde striker left with an injury to the 26th minute of play after contact with Davidson Sanchez. His gestures on the field did not bode well.

Absent against Argentina and for the end of the C1 group stage

Muscularly affected in the left thigh, “Vini” will miss “at least a month and a half” of competition, assures Sport. His medical examinations carried out on Friday revealed “an injury to the posterior muscle of the left thigh”, the CBF said in a press release. The 23-year-old Brazilian will therefore not play again until 2024, at best.

He will miss Real’s last two group matches in the Champions League, against Naples (November 29) and Union Berlin (December 12), but also 5 days of La Liga. With the Seleção, Vinicius will also not be able to participate in the South American clash against Lionel Messi’s Argentina on Wednesday.
