Inside linebacker will provide depth after injuries to Pittsburgh starters Kwon Alexander and Cole Holcomb

PITTSBURGH — After announcing his retirement earlier this season, inside linebacker Myles Jack is back in the NFL.

Jack28 years old, signed with the practice squad of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday afternoon, adding more depth to the inside linebacker group after injuries to the team’s inside starters, Kwon Alexander y Cole Holcomb.

Jackwho spent last season with the Steelerssigned briefly with the Philadelphia Eagles in August, before announcing his retirement.

Jack appeared in 15 games for Pittsburgh last season, starting 13 of them, and recording 104 combined tackles.
