The FFT, an approved sports federation, in accordance with current legislation and its statutes, organizes and manages French professional tennis activities. It is responsible by ministerial delegation for promoting, organizing and developing tennis in France, bringing together and supporting affiliated clubs, and coordinating their activities. It also ensures the representation of France through the involvement of French teams in international events such as the Davis Cup, the Billie Jean King Cup or the Olympic Games as well as through the organization of major tournaments.

In this regard, the FFT is the official organizer of Roland-Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters and as such holds all of the operating rights relating thereto.

Fixed-term contract position to be filled from November 2023 to the end of August 2024

The French Tennis Federation is looking for a fixed-term Urban Tennis Project Manager in order to:

• Design and implement actions to promote the development of the Urban Tennis practice
• Organize the implementation of actions on the ground, in perfect consultation with other FFT services
concerned and the decentralized bodies of the FFT (regional leagues, departmental committees and clubs).

As such, the proposed missions are as follows:

• Participation in the strategic design of the development of Urban Tennis on a national scale
• Proposes to the Service Manager the different actions to be implemented depending on the targets to be addressed
• Is proactive in developing the service’s strategy through forward-looking thinking based on monitoring and
the feedback of “field” observations (qualitative and quantitative).
• Implementation of the federal strategy:
– Manage the following projects:
• Management of the organization of our events (town hall square)
• Support in the organization of our events during Roland Garros (In Stadia/Out Stadia)
• Participates in the construction and runs the networks of FFT territorial relays
• Assistance in setting up partnerships in collaboration with the FFT Marketing & Economic Development Department
• Works closely with the partner(s) on all projects
• Events
• Organizes the events planned in the Urban Tennis development strategy.
• Preparation of sporting events (logistics / entertainment)
• Logistics implementation on the ground during events
• Travel to the event locations to coordinate all the arrangements
• Creation of events linked to the territories (clubs, committees, leagues)
• Project management
• Implements weekly activity reporting
• Evaluates the actions implemented and proposes areas for improvement

Profile

Training / Experience:
• BAC +5
• STAPS training or Sports Business School
• Experience in the field of organization
sporting events
