How and where it is played: Badminton for the blind follows the same scoring system as regular badminton, that is, each match consists of 3 sets of 21 points, and whoever arrives first will win. The playing field will have the same measurements as an individual badminton field, 16m x 5m, since it will only be played individually, thus avoiding the possibility of hitting a teammate when playing, although it will undergo an adaptation to facilitate the game, the lines that mark The field will have a different texture from the rest of the field, to be able to differentiate it. The material will also be different, the steering wheel will emit a constant sound to always know its position during the game. Regulatory aspects to take into account: To facilitate and ensure fluidity in the game, before each shot, whoever performs it will have to say “smash” out loud to warn the opponent. Players must make sure they know the measurements of the field so as not to go too long or too short. There will be a referee who will watch the game from the outside and make the necessary decisions in case of disagreement. Different levels of disability Moderate: for those disabled in this degree, depending on each individual, the adapted steering wheel will be removed and a normal one will be used. Serious: in this degree the previously mentioned rules will already apply. Complete blindness: in this case the adapted rules will be used, adding, if necessary due to the player’s inexperience, an outside participant to help him with positioning, tactics, etc.
