There was no training session on Tuesday for the OM players, but Gennaro Gattuso still spent a good part of the day at the Robert-Louis-Dreyfus center, analyzing video sequences or discussing with certain members of his staff. The Italian knows the club’s facilities well since he slept there for two weeks upon his arrival, before taking advantage of the October international break to find accommodation, a stone’s throw from the Commanderie. Plunged into the boiling pot of Marseille on September 28, Gattuso had, that day, a foretaste of the frenetic pace that awaited him: he took off from the south of Spain at the end of the morning, signed his contract with the OM in the middle of the afternoon before leading his first training session at 6 p.m., and two days before a trip to Monaco.
