Former Bearcats Shine in Week 12 of NFL Action

CINCINNATI – Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce helped keep the Eagles undefeated at home and New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner tied his season-high in tackles to highlight Week 12 of NFL action for former Bearcats.

Kelce paved the way for 378 total yards and five touchdowns in a primetime thriller against the Buffalo Bills, defeating Buffalo 37-34. The Eagles are the first team to hit double-digit wins this season with a league best 10-1 record.

Gardner recorded six tackles (two solo) and one pass defended against vs the Miami Dolphins. Gardner appeared in every defensive snap once again, marking his third game straight game achieving this mark and seventh total.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce totaled six receptions for 91 yards in the Chiefs 31-17 division win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Chiefs sit atop the AFC West at 8-3. Safety Bryan Cook had three tackles (two solo) and Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker saw snaps in the rivalry game.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder made his ninth start of the season throwing for 168 yards and a touchdown, to go along with seven rushes for 30 yards as the Falcons took down the New Orleans Saints, 24-15. Ridder’s fifth win of the season allowed Atlanta to reclaim the NFC South division.

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford saw his most offensive snaps of the season (51) where he carried the ball nine times for 65 yards (7.2 yards per carry), while also hauling in four passes for 14 yards and offensive linemen James Hudson III saw snaps against the Denver Broncos.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Coby Bryant saw action for the first time eight weeks where he would garner a tackle and forced fumble against the San Francisco 49ers.

Monday Night Football’s NFC North showdown between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears took place, where the Bears won 12-10. Vikings linebacker Ivan Pace Jr recorded nine tackles, tying his career-high that he set just last week against the Denver Broncos. Pace also notched a new career-high in solo tackles with seven and had a sack, while Bears wide receiver Tyler Scott saw snaps.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce had a season-high four receptions for 27 yards in a 27-20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tennessee Titans tight end Josh Whyle caught a pass for 11 yards and wide receiver Chris Moore appeared in his 100th career game with three receptions for 41 yards and a kick return for 21 yards, as Tennessee defeated the Carolina Panthers, 17-10.

Green Bay Packers linebacker Eric Wilson tallied a solo tackle in a crucial 29-22 win over their longtime division rival Detroit Lions.
