Not as a coach on the sidelines, but with his family office as an investor. Klopp believes in the power of a Cologne start-up. With their app Prematch, the founders want to hit the nerve of kickers right down to the smallest of the up to 13 leagues. By offering them the chance to finally answer one of the most exciting, or at least most attractive, questions in big football for themselves: What am I worth?
Millions of football fans have asked themselves this question as they chase the ball themselves. The Prematch founders Lukas Röhle, Fiete Grünter and Niklas Brackmann, three amateur footballers, believe they have identified a gap in the market. “Amateur football is currently on the rise. We want to give all active players the feeling that they are being noticed,” says Röhle.
