CDTE 31 President Discusses Horse Archery Training and Competitions in Haute-Garonne

Geoffroy Bouigue, the president of CDTE 31 (Departmental Equestrian Tourism Committee) discusses horse archery (TAC) and the two days of training for executives in the discipline, on Sunday October 22 with “judge and chef” training track” which allows you to set up and judge TAC circuits in Haute-Garonne and on Monday October 23 a “teacher training” allowing teachers from Haute-Garonne to teach the TAC discipline within their structure. It was the Ban stables in Sarrecave which welcomed horsemen-archers and supervisors, the objective being on the one hand to organize a departmental horseback archery competition, on the other hand to allow teachers of Haute -Garonne to teach horseback archery to the department’s graduates. CDTE 31 is a decentralized body at the departmental level of the French Equestrian Federation “FFE”. Like any public utility federation, the FFE by ministerial delegation is committed to sports, tourism and training development by representing the equestrian world sector. It is for this reason at the departmental level that CDTE 31 initiated these two days of training. Thus, the stables of Ban de Charlotte Hétier in Sarrecave and EARL du Cerf de Cécile Pichon in Fronton are, to this day, capable of teaching and organizing TAC courses and competitions. CDTE 31 is looking for a third equestrian structure in Haute-Garonne to organize a TAC championship over three days. Consideration is being given to organizing a two-day course in February in Fronton with Cécile Pichon for both teachers and graduates.
