Notch hat-trick Echeverri when Argentina beat Brazil 3-0 in the quarter-finals means he is now competing with Ruberto. Previously, the player nicknamed El Diablito scored two goals in the matches against Japan and Venezuela.

Mali’s front three, Mahammoud Barry, Ibrahim Diarra and Mamadou Doumbia have the opportunity to overtake Echeverri and Ruberto’s goal tally. They have both collected three goals.
