BarcelonaÉlite Taxi announced this Sunday the death of a taxi driver who was assaulted by a motorist in Barcelona after a traffic dispute at the Corts crossing. According to the association, the victim is Carlos Ríos, who is a member of the organization and who entered the hospital two nights ago in a serious condition after being hit by the motorist.
The alleged aggressor is in custody, as the ARA has been able to confirm, and the Mossos are investigating the facts. Elite Taxi has denounced the assault and in a statement has trusted that “the full weight of the law” will fall on the detainee. The entity has said that they will mobilize their legal cabinet “so that the penalty against this murderer is as high as possible”.
