Now Ibrahimović has revealed which woman rejected his marriage proposal. In an interview with English journalist Piers Morgan, the retired soccer star explained why he has been together with Helena Seger (53) for over 20 years but the couple never married.

When asked why he never proposed marriage, Ibrahimović said: “I did. But she said no.”
The Swede explains: “That was a few years ago. I said after 20 years you deserve to be married to me. She said, ‘I don’t have to be married to you to be with you’. She’s strong, she’s very strong.”
But the confident ex-kicker seemed to enjoy being rejected. “I think it is cool. Because when you do that, you get more respect from me because I don’t always have to win,” he explained.
Does he really care that he received a no to his application? Probably not quite. Because Ibrahimović suggests that his huge ego may have been slightly bruised after all.
When asked whether he would propose to her again, the Swede replied: “No, she had a chance, she won’t get a second chance. But she has two boys from me, which is even more important than being married.”
