NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – On the Italian night of the NBA play-offs in the Eastern Conference, the series between Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers returns to a draw after game 4 with the former winning 112-89. Franz Wagner is the protagonist for the Magic with 34 points, while in Cleveland 21 points and 9 rebounds from Jarrett Allen are not enough. Not a particularly brilliant evening for Paolo Banchero who finished with 9 points and 4 rebounds. A never-questioned victory for the Boston Celtics who in game 3 went 104 to 84 at the home of the Miami Heat, bringing the series in their favor to 2-1; in reality Miami never entered the game and Bam Adebayo’s 20 points and 15 from
Tyler Herro e Nikola Jovic.
In the Western Conference the Pelicans were in difficulty and were beaten 106 to 85 by the Oklahoma City Thunder who took a 3-0 lead. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 24 points plus 8 assists, while Jalen Williams scores 21 with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. For the Pelicans the absence of Zion Williamson weighed heavily, but not only that and only Brandon Ingram (19) and CJ McCollum (16) survived.
The Los Angeles Lakers dominate the Denver Nuggets by winning 119 to 108 and gaining the first point of the series (1-3): the Lakers return to winning ways against their direct opponents after 11 consecutive defeats; Lebron James scored 30 and Anthony Davis was no exception as he finished with 25 points and 23 rebounds, while Austin Reaves finished with 21. Among the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic was amazing, achieving his 18th triple double of the playoffs with 33 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists.
