Victor Wembanyama continued his learning before his big debut in the NBA by playing a third preparatory game with the San Antonio Spurs who won 117 to 103 against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday evening.
“Wemby” once again showed off his skills by intercepting a pass and dribbling between Reggie Bullock’s legs before charging the opponent’s basket. The rookie also stood out with a few no-look passes. The 7-foot-4 giant passes off some technical moves often reserved for playmakers as routine plays for him.
Wembanyama also made two blocks under the basket, which will likely become his trademark in a career that is already looking very promising.
