Vanderbilt Football’s Game Against South Carolina Set for 11 a.m. CT Kickoff on SEC Network

Vanderbilt football’s game against South Carolina on Nov. 11 will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network, the conference announced Monday.

Vanderbilt has not beaten South Carolina since 2009, a string of 14 straight losses in the matchup. That’s the Commodores’ longest active losing streak to an SEC East opponent.

In 2021, coach Clark Lea’s first season, Vanderbilt did come close, with a 21-20 loss.

The Gamecocks (2-6, 1-5 SEC) have just a lone SEC win over Mississippi State and won’t pick up another this week with a nonconference game against Jacksonville State on the docket. The Commodores (2-7, 0-5) are one of two teams remaining that is winless in conference play, with the other being Arkansas.
