The Port of the Balearic Islands is recognized as the third most transparent in Spain |

According to a recent report by Dyntra, the Balearic Islands Port Authority has achieved the distinction of being the third most transparent port authority in Spain. This achievement is based on a score of 51.2% and compliance with 64 of the 125 transparency indicators, which are based on national and international laws and good practices.

In this sense, the Balearic enclave has expressed its commitment to continue improving its transparency indicators and, for that purpose, has presented a transparency portal. Through this platform, they seek to reinforce their transparent management of the ports of general interest and lighthouses of the Balearic Islands.

The importance of strengthening relationships with stakeholders has been emphasized by the Port Authority. In addition, they have highlighted the need to listen to the community and promote investment in sustainability. Likewise, they have recalled the incentives they offer to companies that participate in sustainable projects, such as rate reductions and other benefits.

The Dyntra report has highlighted that the Balearic Islands Port Authority has only been surpassed by the port authorities of Castellón and Valencia in terms of transparency. Furthermore, another evaluation system, in this case Mesta, has evaluated the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands with an impressive 96% of indicators met.

Specifically, the presentation of the transparency portal took place during an event in which the 2022 Sustainability Report was shared with the port community. During the occasion, environmental innovation projects supported by the Ports 4.0 fund were mentioned, including Portnet, Cicero and SeaRebbel, in which they have collaborated with other port authorities.
