[뉴스줌=정진태기자] The ’14th Star Yeongcheon Open Badminton Competition’ was successfully held over two days from the 7th to the 8th at the Yeongcheon Gymnasium and Living Gymnasium.
In this tournament, hosted by the Yeongcheon City Sports Council and organized by the Yeongcheon City Badminton Association, more than 1,000 players from 10 cities and provinces across the country, including Gyeongbuk, Gangwon, Gyeonggi, Gyeongnam, and Daegu, competed enthusiastically.
The match was divided into men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles by age and level, and after a preliminary round of league matches, the final winning team was determined in a tournament format.
The players who participated in this competition added the meaning of the competition by demonstrating the skills they had accumulated over the years and playing passionately to win, while also demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship and consideration for each other.
