Bola.net – Indonesian National Team coach, Shin Tae-yong, was annoyed by a number of his players ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualification for the Asia Zone. The reason is, there are several players who are late joining the training camp (TC).
The Indonesian national team held a TC in Jakarta in preparation for the 2026 Asian Zone World Cup Qualification against Brunei Darussalam. TC starts on Monday (9/10/2023).
The 26 players who have been called are expected to have joined since Monday (9/10) afternoon WIB. But apparently, someone arrived several hours late.
Shin Tae-yong also expressed his emotions during a briefing ahead of the Indonesian National Team’s inaugural training at Field A, Gelora Bung Karno Complex (GBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday (9/10) afternoon WIB.
“Because there were several players who were late coming to TC (training camp) even though TC started at 12 noon,” said Shin Tae-yong after leading the Indonesian National Team’s first training.
“I emphasize that promises are as important as lives,” he added.

Facing Brunei Darussalam 2 Times
The Indonesian National Team versus Brunei Darussalam duel will be held twice. The first leg is scheduled to take place on October 12 2023, and the second meeting five days later.
The first leg will be played at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta. Meanwhile, the second meeting will be at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Bandar Seri Begawan.
If they can eliminate Brunei Darussalam, the Indonesian National Team will qualify for the second round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications in the Asia Zone. The Garuda squad will occupy Group F which is filled with Iraq, Vietnam and the Philippines.
