Competing in the FIBA 2025 European Championship Qualifiers, the Women’s National Team will start their training on Saturday, June 1, under the management of Head Coach Ekrem Memnun. Melikgazi Kayseri Basketball Head Coach Emre Özsarı will also be in Ekrem Memnun’s team. The camp program, which will be held between 1-23 June, will start in Istanbul. The national teams, who will train in Istanbul between 1-9 June, will go to Serbia to play bilateral contact matches on 10 June. Crescent and Stars will continue their preparations in Istanbul on 14-19 June. Lastly, the Women’s National Team will finish its training by participating in the tournament in Spain on 20-23 June.
On the other hand, the national team, which is preparing for the U20 Girls’ European Championship to be held in Lithuania between 06-14 July 2024, will enter the camp on June 1 and start training. The camp squad determined for this camp was announced by the Turkish Basketball Federation. Young player Feray Dalkılıç, who grew up in the infrastructure of Melikgazi Kayseri Basktebol, took part in the U20 National team camp squad.
