Less than 20 days before the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games officially begin, it was confirmed that the Team Chile will have the largest delegation in its history in the competition.
In total, they will be 667 athletes who will represent the country in 39 disciplines looking to leave the medals at home, an instance in which they will receive the encouragement of thousands of people who will fill the various venues.
Among the most notable are Esteban Grimalt and Kristel Köbrich, beach volleyball player and swimmer who were elected as those in charge of carrying the national flag at the grand opening ceremony.
To them we must add the shooter Francisca Crovetto, the canoeist Maria José Mailliard and the paddlers Antonia and Melita Abrahamall qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
