Every week, there is something essential in the great dojo of Bressols, where the tatami mats become the scene of beautiful oppositions. We can easily guess the eight values perpetuated by a discipline which requires the impeccable wearing of the kimono, but above all there are the many links which are created at the judo club. There are still many Bressolese judokas who are convinced by this discipline focused on flexibility, a sporting activity which is unanimously appreciated due to the values it transmits. The very principle of judo is to use the pretext of physical confrontation to allow everyone to achieve better self-control, in order to assert their personality. Over the years, the Bressols club has not lost its moral code.
This week, the licensees participated in the presentation of the Llbel Club bronze, a label carried by France Judo which encourages clubs to develop: “This initiative aims to reward the most virtuous and most committed clubs, by promoting their activity and their dynamics”, points out educator Jean-Luc Bosc. Today, 121 licensees find themselves in an adapted and enlarged dojo: “We have just obtained this bronze label, valid for a period of two years, and we are aiming for silver.”
Simplicity and modesty
In the presence of Jean-Louis Eternot, deputy mayor, the judokas were content with a clear and objective message: “Well done to all those involved, let’s continue together in this state of mind by sharing human and loyal values”, comment licensees. This label highlights four areas of work: the project, the dynamics, the activity and the sporting offer, as well as the training efforts. Considerations for which the Judo-Club of Bressols stands out well in the department. Wisely for the club, with great determination, success and patience always go together.
