Successful Spring Open SwissLife Lefebvre at TC Noyal-Châtillon Tennis Club

Salle Yvonne-Rémond, the Noyal-Châtillon tennis club (TC) organized, for two weeks, its spring open, newly named open SwissLife Lefebvre.

Jérôme Gauthier, president, did not hide his satisfaction during the awards ceremony on Saturday: “ During these two weeks, we welcomed 191 players in competition, and we had at least 80 players on the waiting list.. We were able to play 18 matches per day, on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. In the end, there were 186 games organized on five tables, with one new feature: senior over 55. »

“Strong demand from competitors”

A notable enthusiasm: “ We sense a recovery and strong demand from competitors. Our format, our facilities, and of course the quality of our tournament committee supported by our volunteers make the difference. »

« We want to work around competitive tennis, healthy tennis, teaching for adults and young people, and promote our activities, recalls the president detailing the TC Noyal-Châtillon project, with its four strategic pillars. For the second year in a row we have instituted equal allocations for simple ladies and gentlemen. »

At the end of the year, the activities continue for the TC since, for the first time, we are organizing on June 8 and 9, a TMC 2nd series (multi-chance tournament) reserved for players ranked between 15 and 1/6, which evolves at the regional and national level.
