Spanish Football Legend Joan Capdevila Praises Jordi Amat’s Decision to Play for Indonesian National Team

tvOnenews.com – Spanish football legend, Joan Cadebila praised Jordi Amat for choosing to play for the Indonesian national team.

Jordi Amat received an Indonesian passport while undergoing the naturalization process in November 2022. Jordi Amat also made his debut to defend Indonesia in the Asian Cup Qualifier against Cambodia in December 2022.

The winner of Euro 2008 and the 2010 World Cup believes Jordi Amat can provide more value to the Garuda team.

Jordi Amat is recognized as having experience playing in Europe for more than a decade, playing for clubs such as RCD Espanyol (Spain), Rayo Vallecano (Spain), Swansea City (England), Real Betis (Spain) and KAS Eupen (Belgium).

“Jordi Amat is younger than me. Never met at the academy and never met in the first team. However, Jordi Amat has experience received from Europe, from Spain, from Espanyol,” said Capdevila.

“I am sure Jordi can provide experience and added value to the national team,” he added.
