NBA star Harden about to move to LA Clippers

The longest transfer saga of the NBA summer is over. Ten-time All-Star James Harden is moving from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN. The final details of the exchange transaction were still to be clarified on Tuesday morning. Harden had recently had a public argument with the Sixers management and had stayed away from training. His wish to change is now fulfilled.

At the Clippers, the 34-year-old will play with superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as well as his former Oklahoma City teammate Russell Westbrook. The team from California is giving up a package consisting of Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum and KJ Martin as well as several draft selection rights for the development player and two other players.

Harden led the league with 10.7 assists per game in the previous season. During the offseason, he called Sixers President Daryl Morey a “liar” because of contract disputes.
