The Ibizan midfielders shone with their own light in different tournaments over the weekend. Not in vain, they brought medals from the Oviedo U17 Master’s, from the Spanish Senior Championship and from the German Ruhr Junior International, in Germany.
In Asturias, Yulien Gil and Ismael Oballe won gold in the men’s doubles. This same metal was obtained by Yaidel Gil and Victoria Gutiérrez in mixed doubles, where Yulien Gil and Daniela Corchón climbed to the third place on the podium. In the women’s doubles, Sofía García and Victoria Gutiérrez were proclaimed runners-up.
In the Senior National, Vicent Martínez reached the three finals, winning the individual title and also in the men’s doubles together with Albert Navarro from Menorca. In addition, Sandra Chirlaque achieved two runners-up finishes: an individual and another in the women’s doubles. In the super veteran category, José Luis Suñer won the bronze and Iván Gallardo won the gold in both the mixed doubles and the men’s doubles.
In Germany, the Ibizan Carmen Jiménez, together with the Asturian Adolfo López, was proclaimed runner-up in the mixed doubles of the German Ruhr Junior International.
