Through the Hazme Valer stores, in which the Undersecretariat of the Penitentiary System sells products made by people in prison as part of their reintegration, you can get the glasses for only 100 pesos.
The manufacturing of these lenses was carried out through the undersecretariat that belongs to the police and the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

The visors were manufactured in the penitentiary center’s advertising packaging design, cutting and assembly workshop, there, the people deprived of liberty created the original design with reference to the Day of the Dead, they cut them by hand, assembled them, glued them, until they were finished. with packaging.

“The objective of creating these displays is to provide a space for the marketing of articles made by people in prison through self-employment, which allows them to generate economic income to support themselves and their families, in addition, thereby increase the chances of getting a job when they obtain their freedom,” explained the undersecretary.
