The “Ticket Sport” operation was organized in Saint-Omer during the spring holidays. The first week, it had already brought together more than 400 children. From April 18 to 22, under the direction of Georges Missant and sports instructors from different disciplines, the participants took part in judo, ping-pong, hockey, walking, volleyball, rugby, basketball, canoeing. At the CTPN stand, they were able to practice shooting. At the velodrome stadium, they got on a racing bike. At the horse riding club, they were able to learn horse riding.
Other activities were also reserved for them: rowing, football, pétanque at the bowling alley, basketball, track cycling, volleyball…
An excellent way for these young people to discover sports, not yet practiced, and then join the club of their choice.
