It has earned a good place in the calendar of “France Series” tournaments counting for the federal classification.
The TC Cusset Wheelchair Tennis Open returns for the fifth year to the courts of the Jean-Moulin stadium, starting this Friday. Sixteen players are split into two draws for the singles competition. A tournament reserved for doubles is also scheduled.

In the main draw, two first-series players will be favorites. One is a regular at the tournament: Rodolphe Lopez, 13th Frenchman, already twice a finalist, will try to take the last step to put the Cusset competition on his list.
But the licensee of TC Grau du Roi will have a serious opponent, in the person of Julien Lefevere (15th). The player from Annecy, a finalist, comes forward with full confidence after his victory last weekend at the TC La Ravoire tournament.
Attention, also, to Stéphane Goudou, 25th in the technical classification but former first series, who is back in form and could thwart the predictions of this tournament directed by Pierre Fusade, president of the Paratennis commission of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes league and who will be part of of the 8 players registered in the second table.

Sunday September 3. From 9:45 a.m.: finals of the consolation tables (tables 1 & 2). From 1:30 p.m.: finals of single tables 1 & 2, followed by the prize-giving
