Young Athlete Cecilia Nassuato Secures Spot in Italian A2 Under 14 Championship Final

Cecilia Nassuato is a very young 13-year-old athlete originally from Verona who for a few months, together with her brother Alessandro and her father Luca, has been training both in her home club, the Polisportiva Caselle of Verona, and at the Polisportiva Riccione with which she has undertaken a challenging course in the official FIJLKM activity. At the end of April, followed by DT Maestro Giuseppe Longo, Cecilia overcame two difficult matches and managed to gain the coveted pass to the final of the Italian A2 under 14 Championship which will be held in Olbia on May 26th. Cecilia and her brother Alessandro are welcomed every weekend in Riccione, having found a second sporting family: the friendship born with Sofia Longo and Bruno Badiane makes training more pleasant, thanks also to the collaboration of their father Luca, coach. “I’m very happy. For me it will be the first national experience and this excites me very much” comments the young Cecilia. “It was a great emotion. We are very proud to have welcomed the Nassuato family among our members. They are all very committed and are contributing to the growth and improvement of our working group. Olbia will be a difficult race for Cecilia, but we believe that can really be in the top 5 and access the A1 Final” explains Maestro Longo.
