The Raiders Face Challenges After Painful Loss to Steelers

The Raiders suffered a painful loss at home when the Pittsburgh Steelers outscored them 23-18 at Allegiant Stadium. However, the season could be more complicated for the Las Vegas franchise.

Head coach Josh McDaniels announced that the Raiders have Garoppolo under the concussion protocol after the hits he received from the Steelers defense.

In total, the 31-year-old quarterback was sacked four times and lost 31 yards in the process. The punishment did not end there since Pittsburgh defense recorded eight QB hits and the players who punished him the most were TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith.

In case Garoppolo is not ready to play against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, head coach McDaniels will have to rely on rookie Aidan O’Connell or veteran Brian Hoyer.

Davante Adams is tired of losing to the Raiders

Davante Adams shined in the duel against the Steelers by catching 13 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns. His performance was so dominant that after the match he declared that he is fed up and has no time to wait to win.

“I’m not acting like it’s crazy, it’s Week 3, but I don’t have time to wait,” Adams said after the game. “It’s not personal, I mean, it’s personal, but it’s not just about me.”

The 30-year-old veteran wide receiver has been first-team All-Pro three times during his career and his talent appears to be wasted. For his career, Adams has 794 receptions for 9,959 and 90 touchdowns.
