BBL – German club Crailsheim has formalized the signing of former French international Léo Westermann.
Leo Westermann (1.98 m, 31 years old) moves closer to the house. This season, the leader will only be 2.5 hours from his hometown of Haguenau. As announced, the former French international (27 caps) has just signed for the German team from the town of Crailsheim, a town of 33,000 inhabitants located in Baden-Württemberg. The HAVRO Merlins, who finished 13th in 2022-2023 (12 wins and 22 losses), have just made the news official.
Long in the EuroLeague (176 matches), at Partizan Belgrade, Limoges CSP, Zalgiris Kaunas, CSKA Moscow, Fenerbahçe Istanbul, FC Barcelona and AS Monaco, the Alsatian tried to relaunch himself at the Saint -Jacques de Compostela, Obradoiro CAB, in 2022-2023. In Liga Endesa, he averaged 6.8 points on 36% shooting, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists. This season with the Merlins will be his first in the Bundesliga, a championship of rising value.
